Press select to choose Rayden, Jax, Kung Lao, orKano for the classic (Mortal Kombat 1) versionsof those fighters. Happy glass.

On the character selection screen, hold Up + Start.

On the character selection screen, highlight Sonya and press Up + Start in oneplayer or Vs mode. If you entered the code correctly, the screen will shake andthere will be a boom sound.

Press Select when choosing Rayden, Jax, Kung Lao, or Kano for the classic (MortalKombat 1) versions of those fighters.

At the story screen, press Down(2), Up(2), Right(2), Left(2). If you entered thecode correctly, you will hear a sound. Now the credit display will changeto 'Freeplay'.

If fighting as player one, choose any male ninja (Reptile, Classic Sub-Zero,Rain, Human Smoke, Ermac, Noob Saibot, or Scorpion) and hold Left + R1 + R2 +Square + Triangle until the fight starts. If fighting as player two, choose anymale ninja and hold Right + R1 + R2 + Square + Triangle until the fight starts.Chameleon is a semi-clear ninja that morphs into all the other ninjas in thegame. When the fight begins, your ninja will explode and change into Chameleon.

Question Mark Menus
During the story screen, press the following buttons very quickly: HK, LK, RN, LP, HP, HP, HP, LP, LP. If it is done right you'll hear 'Oh-Maw' and you'll get borh the Red and Blue ?'s. These question marks will open up some hidden extra options which are outlined below.

Level Select
Highlight Sonya and press Up + Start.

Play as Human Smoke
To play as Human Smoke, press and hold Away, High Punch, High Kick, L, R before the screen says 'Fight'.

Play as Khameleon
At the story line, press C-Right, C-Up, A, B, C-Down, C-Up, C-Right.

Play as Motaro
This trick only works on the Desert and Wastelands. Choose anyone, but before the match starts press and hold Away + Low Kick + High Kick. When the match starts you will morph into Motaro.

Play as Shao Kahn
Select the Rooftop stage, Pit 3, or Kahn's Kave. Before the match starts, hold Down + High Punch + Low Punch.

Fight Khameleon
If you hear the word 'Toasty' on the Star Bridge stage, quickly press Down + Start to fight Khameleon.

Unlimited Credits
For unlimited credits, press Down, Down, Up, Up, Right, Right, Left, Left at the attract mode screen.

Exploding Babies
First of all, you must do the Babality move. When the screen turns black and your opponent turns into a baby, hold these four buttons: HP, LP, HK & LK. You must continue to hold these buttons until the baby explodes.

Johnny Cage's Three Head Punch Off
While doing the Head Punch Off fatality with Johnny Cage, hold HP, BLK & LP all at once. Johnny Cage will then punch three heads off.

Random Character Select
On the character selection screen, put your cursor on Noob Saibot for player one or Rain for player two. Now hold up and press start. Your cursor will then select a fighter for you at random.

Bonus Games
If you complete the tasks listed below, you will unlock the corresponding bonus mini game: Space Invaders -- Play 50 two-player matches in a row
Pong -- Play 100 two-player matches in a row
Galaga -- In the Pit Stage, if a silhouette goes over the moon, hit Z

Kombat Codes
When the story screen comes up, rotate your control pad in a clockwise direction. After a few rotations the Kombat Kode screen should appear. Kombat Kodes are entered using a button to control each of the six boxes. (P1 and P2 refer to player 1 and player 2.) P1 will enter the first three boxes, P2 will enter the second three boxes.

The enter the codes, you have to change the boxes to match the symbols.. because we can't actually show the symbols, we use numbers instead to represent the codes. To use any of the Kombat Codes, just read out the numbers required for the Kode, and then translate using the following key:
